[017] Temptation and Sin

Season 2 : Episode 1 – Temptation & Sin

Why does sin come so naturally?

Welcome to Season 2 of Theology Lockdown! In this premiere episode, we kick off this fresh season by exploring the deeper reality of temptation, looking at it not just as an external trap, but as an internal test of allegiance rooted in the desires of the heart.

Throughout this episode, we unpack key theological concepts including federal headship and total depravity, examining historical church views on concupiscence and disordered loves. We discuss where temptation originates according to Scripture, how Christ sympathizes with our weaknesses without sinning, and the practical ways we can rely on God's provision, armor, and grace rather than sheer human willpower to stand firm.
