Jacob Watson
Jacob "Hollywood" Watson
Inmate host & editor
Jacob is an inmate in the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, currently serving a 30-year sentence. He serves as one of the inmate hosts and editors for Theology Lockdown Podcast, where he helps create honest, unfiltered conversations that highlight the real experiences of incarcerated men walking with Jesus. After a horrific, life-altering event in 2010 filled with devastating ripple effects of pain and hurt, Jacob encountered the redeeming grace of Christ. What followed was a deep transformation—from self-destruction to new life in Him. He holds tightly to the passage that says, "I am a new creation in Christ, old things have passed away." Today, Jacob lives with a passion to point others to the saving, restoring power of Jesus and to encourage those wrestling with faith and Scripture. The scripture passages that carry the most impact on his life include Hebrews 12:1–2 and Psalm 51.
Mark Murray
Mark "Keytek" Murray
Inmate host & music contributor
Mark was born in 1974 to a pastor and gospel singer, and a business-minded mother, and grew up surrounded by both faith and music. Though he was drawn into street life in his teens, God's grace and his passion for producing and DJing helped guide his path. After graduating from Millwood High School, Mark built a career in the music industry, traveling between Oklahoma, California, and New York. He worked as a producer, composer, and audio engineer, collaborating with artists ranging from Color Me Badd to Snoop Dogg. In 2007, Mark's life changed through a moment that led to his incarceration and surrender to Christ. Since then, he has devoted himself to studying Scripture, serving on praise and worship teams, and growing in theology through mentorship and formal study. Today, he uses his gifts to serve others and point them to the transforming power of Jesus.
Robbie Carpenter
Robbie "Apoc" Carpenter
Host
Robbie Carpenter, also known as Apoc, is a husband, father, rapper, poet, and youth worker who has been involved in prison ministry for over seven years. In 2019, he first connected with Ben, Mark, and Jacob during a music event at Joseph Harp Correctional Center, where relationships began forming through ministry and shared conversations about faith. Since then, Robbie has remained actively involved in outreach inside the prison, participating in events such as Muzik Fest, a three-day music festival featuring artists from across the country, and helping lead a monthly Bible study with inmates called Theology Throwdown. Through these relationships and ministry opportunities, Robbie joined the team as a co-host of Theology Lockdown Podcast, where he is grateful to help share conversations centered on Christ, Scripture, and the transforming work of God.

Ben Winters
Ben Winters
Host & co-creator
Ben is a photographer, storyteller, and the creator of Theology Lockdown Podcast. With over fourteen years of experience capturing people and their stories, he brings a steady, thoughtful presence to conversations that center on Christ, redemption, and the power of the gospel in places often overlooked. Ben co-founded Theology Lockdown to create a space where theology is not abstract, but lived — especially within the prison context. His heart is to help listeners see how sound doctrine, grace, and truth shape real lives, even behind bars. As a husband and follower of Jesus, Ben is committed to encouraging faith that is rooted in Scripture and lived with humility. Through this podcast, he hopes to reveal the truth that inmates are just like the rest of us: imperfect sinners in need of a perfect Savior.
